A veterinary house call service is very helpful if your pet typically gets stressed during transportation to the animal hospital, or due to scheduling, driving, and other reasons. If you are contemplating stress-free euthanasia (putting your pet to sleep) we can also perform it in your home  minimizing stress to you, your family and your pet. We will also arrange for handling your pet after euthanasia and arrange for burial or cremation.

We provide all vet services at times that are convenient for you including evenings or weekends so that you do not need to take time off work.

Dr. Kimberley Johnson, Coastal's founder and director, graduated from UCLA with her Bachelor's Degree in 1987 Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She has received numerous awards and scholarships, has eight years experience as a Veterinary Technician, and received her Doctoral of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from UC Davis in 1999. She also achieved the Swedish version of a DVM degree "Legitimerad Veterinar" (Leg. Vet.) in 2005.

Veterinary Services

 We provide a variety of veterinary services at your home, including: complete physical exams, vaccinations, treatments, blood-work, and minor surgeries. If x-rays (radiographs) are deemed necessary we can give your pet a calming medication and help transport your pet to an animal hospital in order to perform the x-rays and then give you the results immediately upon returning your pet to your home.
